25 weeks.

AWW--my little angel Ellie Bear :)

Welp. I've made it 25 weeks!
My 24 week check up was last week-everything looks great (except that I have gained 3lb's to much). Great. I mean seriously--- I am so hungry! Give a prego a break .
The highlights of my week:
  • Dad built amazing shelving for her closet...and a matching nightstand. Love it!
  • Went with mom and Shel to Market Days and bought her some CUTEEE hand made hair bows.
  • Decided on the material for her bedding.
  • Decided on paint color for all furniture and walls in the nursery.
  • Celebrated my baby sisters 17th birthday at Bj's. 17!? Makes me sad.
  • Made Brian take more pictures of me. I super hate having my picture made. But I keep telling myself Ill be happy to have them one day. I am thinking I need a new camera, and Brian can use my old one and we can double team this photography thing--he's pretty darn good!

Great! Another Bedding Fabric.....

Great. I found another fabric I like. I think I am liking this one better....my mom showed her counselors aides yesterday afternoon and they all said it was more "mellow". They are so right! Also, I have decided not to have a bumper pad. The thought of her getting her head stuck underneath it freaks me out. I know--I am paranoid! This will probably be the bed skirt-and I will get a matching sheet. I still dont know what color to paint the crib, changing table and book shelf.....

First Hair Bow....

Holy Cow- 3 posts in one day...Brian must be working today, and I must be lonely :)
Yesterday I watched a Youtube video and learned how to make a hair bow. I went to Hancock's and bought one yard of ribbon-basic white, a small hot glue gun and a center piece for the bow. I decided not to buy much ribbon for my first one, because what if I just COULDNT do it? I think it turned out ok for my first one...

First Annual-Random Things From Our Life Post.....

I decided that every now and then Ill do a "random things from our life" post...this is definately RANDOM! :)

Last Spring I had a photography job right next to President Bush's Crawford Ranch...I am a total Bush fan-so I dorked out and took pictures outside the front gates. Whatev. Dont judge me.
This was moments before I stoled a handful of grass and rocks from his side of the fence..Thats right.
Me and Brandon Rhyder this summer-if you have never listened to him, you should. He is awesome. Brian works for Bloomer Trailer's and they sponsor him, and Brian has gotten to know him - so over the summer we went to one of his concerts. Id love to go to more!
Tubing this summer.
Ellie Bear's favorite way to ride in the car...
Visiting Coleman and Jenn this summer in Houston--Go Astros!
Sweet Little Bear
Ellie & Joe
Joe & Hope-our other family members
Me and my favorite little sister-Shelby at Melody C. Photography's very first wedding job! :)

The Rocking Chair

My mom and dad bought us a handmade rocking chair for the living room-it is freaking amazing. It is actually made by the Amish! We are so excited about it-and it looks super cool in our house--matches perfectly! I just had to show it off....
P.S.- I got my fabric swatch in, and it is so awesome I am having a hard time containing myself. It looks even COOLER in person! Looks like we may have a winner for Baby C's bedding fabric. I am thinking about matching the blue or the red in the fabric and painting her crib that color....
The decisions are making me crazy.....

Bedding Fabric?

I know, its different. This is a swatch of the fabric I really like-and may use-for the baby bedding...thanks to my sister in law I have a bumper pad that I can use and re-cover....a super nice, FLUFFY one. I am not into the whole pinks and pastels for a girls room. I would like her room to kind of go with the rest of our house...
Tuesday I ordered a swatch of this online. Hopefully it will be here by Friday-I am anxious to see if it is awesome in person--it could be totally hideous!
